Already overloaded with information/desire, the capacity to appraise & embody new information/desire shuts down,
becomes ‘clipped.’
This leaves us with an object/emotion that, to stay within our threshold,
becomes distorted, its gradient & texture smoothed along its medium/body.
I have been taught to discount or trash these clippings,
taught that they represent absence of detail because they are not constantly allowing more detail to influence them.
That they are, at best, relics. More often, valueless.
That they are, at best, relics. More often, valueless.
But these clipped images/moments are filled to the point of Burst.
They shift quietly.
They are Continents, not just content.
Continents, not content.
Constantly made and remade by movement, division, collision but (still) constant.

Why are people not commenting here all the time? Brilliant. I 100% agree with you. Continents, not content. This picture makes me feel big things, and that's the whole point.
