On sweet-bitter creatures with two states of mind.

In a few months Ash LaRose and I will publish a very limited edition of a small book.

Each turn of the page will present two photographs side-by-side: work we've made together, separately, through bi-monthly assignments. Our first theme was direct, explicit, bodily and Bataille-inspired. Here are the outtakes:

 

But that post was retired to make way for the newest, which we shared today:

Only Bashfulleigh and I will know the exact nature of each assignment. And truthfully I hope that over time we forget.

That, like the work of Bataille, the goal of each theme transgresses into a newly formed, synaesthetic language.
