All that separates these two strangers is glass, metal and $10 roses:



There's nothing like the look of loneliness to make you feel desperately connected.

Sometimes I make such intimate portraits because they make my distance more present and palpable.

Loneliness is my heaviest-handed sentiment.
It is a craft, it is a pleasure.

It is a drug.
