There's the loss that accompanies knowing.
And then there's the loss that accompanies knowing only that you did not, could not or would not know.
The trick is not to value one type of knowledge over the other.
Gosh, I don't know; perhaps it's the opposite.
Maybe the value's in decidedly valuing one -- whole-heartedly, doubtlessly.
Don't trust me because I trust everything.
Especially my own self.
To my detriment and to my blessing.

The German word Sehnsucht (held by Germans to be equally untranslatable) is more or less synonymous with saudade.
There too is the knowing that accompanies loss.
And I have to look up the other 6 words now Traci.

And don't get lost down the well, Greer. When I went to look it up again, apparently there are many different lists of interesting words all over the web. Too much goodness!
